Practices will be held the week of August 12 from 6:00-8:30 a.m. @ Memorial Stadium.
The Lanphier High School/Southeast High School Girls Golf Team will meet at Knight's Action Park on August 12 at 4:30 p.m. by the driving range (meet in the lobby by mini-golf entrance). Parent meeting to follow at 5:30 p.m. Please bring your golf clubs, plenty of water, and sunscreen.
The Lanphier High School/Southeast High School Girls Tennis Team will begin practices on August 12 at the Tennis Courts next to Ball Charter School on the corner of Ash Street and Taylor Avenue. Please make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
The Lanphier High School/Southeast High School Boys Golf Team will have an informational meeting on August 12 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Bunn Park Golf Course.

This event is an opportunity for Freshmen to meet students, teachers and administration at their home high school. Students will get to tour the facility and learn more about their high school experience!

If your student is planning on participating in a sport this school year, please make sure that they have an up-to-date sports physical. They will not be permitted to practice or play until they have one on file. Please contact Ms. Shreves or Mr. Hampsey if you have any questions.
The Keep Kids in School Coalition will be offering physicals and immunizations for District 186 students on Wednesday, August 7th at the Sangamon County Department of Public Health. Sign-in hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
No appointment needed.
The clinic will only serve District 186 students who are entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grade and those who are new to Illinois who must provide a current physical exam and immunization record. All 12th grade students must provide proof of having received a dose of the meningococcal vaccine on or after their 16th birthday. The legal parent or guardian must accompany their child.
No sports physicals will be offered. Thank you!
Things are getting exciting for the start of school! Band students are pumped for the new year. This week they came in for uniform fitting and next week they will be attending band camp.

The Lanphier SGA will be selling t2024-2025 Parking Permits.
Permits will be sold in the Lanphier student parking lot (weather permitting / If not inside the Atrium) on Wednesday August 14, Thursday August 15, and Friday August 16 from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m.
Students need $40 cash and proof of insurance.
